Machame Route — 7 Days
Known as the "Whiskey Route" — the most popular route on the mountain is popular for good reason. Excellent scenery, well-planned acclimatization, and a proven track record.
Route Highlights (7-Day Itinerary)
Designed around the acclimatization principle of "climb high, sleep low" to maximize your summit success rate.
We'll meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport. A private vehicle takes you to your hotel, where your lead guide runs an equipment check and summit briefing.
Begin at Machame Gate (1,800m). Pass through dense rainforest thick with moss and giant heather, ending at Machame Camp (2,835m).
From Shira Camp, cross the alpine desert and climb to the volcanic outcrop of Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to sleep at Barranco Camp (3,970m).
Depart at midnight, pass Stella Point, and reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise. Take in the glaciers and cloud sea below before a safe descent.

Wildebeest Migration Safari — 8 Days
